[Applet - Straight line graphs 3 - two forms of the equation]

This applet follows on from the applet Straight Lines and Equations 2 which you should look at first. This program looks at straight lines whose equations are in the form: ax + by = c, where a, b and c are all integers.
You can draw the line from the equation by first rearranging it into the form: y = gradient × x + y-intercept

You can find the equation of the line by first finding its gradient and intercept, and then rearranging its equation into the form: ax + by = c
Pressing the "Random" button will give you a random line which you can investigate. Learn by playing around!
